30 for 30: Space Jam

18 years ago, one of the greatest basketball games ever to be witnessed was played.  His Airness, Michael Jordan, was pitted against the most intimidatingly overpowered team he had ever encountered.  I am speaking of course of the Monstars.

Space Jam was by far one of my favorite movies growing up.  I loved Michael Jordan, the Looney Toons, science-fiction, and pretending that I was good at basketball.  So really, I had no choice but to like this movie.  Recently, Yahoo’s Sketchy released a parody of ESPN’s 30 for 30 series called, “30 for 30: the Space Jam Game,” and it is amazing.

The mockumentary is hilarious.  They talk about Foghorn Leghorn being burnt alive on the court, the ridiculous lack of officiating, Bill Murray, and Jordan’s arm-stretching dunk to win the game, like it was fact.  Anyways, you should definitely check it out.
